Engineered Plastic Products

Any Application. Every Industry.

  • HALAR® ECTFE (ETHYLENE-CHLOROTRIFLUOROETHYLENE)

Halar® ECTFE is made from the toughest fluoropolymers, allowing it to have nylon-like durability with excellent mechanical properties and impact strength. It has extremely low permeability to liquids, gases, and vapors.

  • HDPE (HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE)

HDPE offers excellent impact resistance, is lightweight, has low moisture absorption, and has high tensile strength. It is also non-toxic, non-staining, and meets FDA and USDA certification. This makes HDPE ideal for food processing.

  • L PHENOLIC (LINEN BASE / PHENOLIC RESIN)

Grade L Phenolic is made up of a mixture of phenolic resin and fine weave cotton cloth fabrics. This blend makes Grade L Phenolic more machinable for intricate details than Grade C and CE Phenolic. However, it is not recommended for electrical applications.

  • LDPE (LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE)

LDPE is a thermoplastic that belongs to the polyolefin group of materials. LDPE is an extruded material that is characterized by good flexibility and resilience, good corrosion resistance and low moisture permeability, low heat resistance, low-temperature impact resistance, and clarity when in film form.

  • LE PHENOLIC (LINEN BASE / PHENOLIC RESIN)

Grade LE Phenolic is a high-density mixture of phenolic resin and fine weave cotton cloth fabrics. This blend makes Grade LE Phenolic more machinable for intricate details than Grade C and CE Phenolic.

  • MC®901 (Cast Heat Stabilized)

MC®901 is an unmodified cast type 6 nylon. MC®901 along with MC®907 have the highest strength and hardness of the nylon 6 grades. MC®901 is a temperature resistant grade that is heat stabilized and offers thermal stability up to 260º F. It is blue in color and is used for a number of bearing and structural applications.

  • MC®907 (NYLON TYPE 6 – CAST UNFILLED)

MC®907 is an unmodified cast type 6 nylon. MC®907 along with MC®901 have the highest strength and hardness of the nylon 6 grades.

  • MYLAR® A (POLYESTER FILM)

Mylar® A is a grade of DuPont’s trade name for polyester film. Mylar® is a tough, flexible, general-purpose film that has a rough surface to provide ease of handling, good adhesion, and processability. Mylar® A has balanced tensile properties and excellent resistance to moisture and most chemicals.

  • NOMEX® 410 (ARAMID PAPER)

Nomex® 410 is made entirely from synthetic aramid polymer. It offers high dielectric strength, mechanical toughness, flexibility, and resilience. Its properties make it ideal for use in electrical equipment applications.

  • NORYL® (MODIFIED PPO)

Noryl® is lightweight, has superior impact strength, and is hydrolytically stable. Its flame retardant characteristics also make it ideal for use in public buildings. Although it is resistant to attack from water, salt solutions, acids, and bases, exposure to certain organic solvents may cause the polymer alloys to soften and crack.
