NYLATRON® GS (EXTRUDED MOLY-FILLED)
NYLATRON® GS (EXTRUDED MOLY-FILLED)
Material Information
Nylaton® GS is an extruded moly-filled nylon 6/6. The moly particles dispersed throughout the material act as a dry lubricant, to enhance load bearing and wear capabilities while also improving strength and rigidity. Nylatron® GS also has a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than unfilled nylon. However, unlike Nylatron® GSM, the addition of the moly particles results in some loss of impact strength.
Application
- Bearings
- Rollers and wheels
- Wear pads
- Gears
